From one week to the next, the bank liquidity shortage continues to worsen. In its recent “Fixed Income Weekly” note, BMCE Capital Global Research (BKGR) announced that it rose slightly to 93.4 MMMDH, compared to 91.4 MMDH a week earlier at the end of last week, while the 7-day advances fell by 2.68 MMDH to 36, 19 MMDH.

According to analysts at BKGR, Treasury investments are improving, as indicated by the maximum daily outstanding amount of 1.2 MMDH during the last week against the stock Maximum daily rate of 8.45 MMDH as of September 14.

The MONIA, (Editor's Note, Moroccan Overnight Index Average): daily currency reference index, calculated on the basis of pension transactions delivered that have as collateral the bonds of Treasury) stands at 1.37%, while the weighted average money market rate (TMP) is still stabilizing at 1.50%.

At the end of last week, the overall volume recorded continued to fall and stood at 5.7 MMDH, compared with 9.6 MMDH a week earlier, polarized by 63% through discussions on short-term maturities with regard to secondary market analysis.
