The Niger Rice Company and Japan have signed their continued agreement to fund six projects since 2016. Thus, more than 5 billion FCFA mobilized by Japan allowed several incoming investments to be made as part of the rehabilitation of infrastructure for the reception of renovated buildings owned by the Société Riz du Niger (RINI).

The reception ceremony for the renovated buildings of the Niger Rice Company (RINI) highlighted the 3 projects financed by the cooperation Japanese that, the first saved money by renewing the infrastructure of the three RINI factories to strengthen rice husking capacities. This is in addition to the installation of an electricity cogeneration unit using biogas from FBG 300/ANKUR rice bran.

The second project allowed this same factory to strengthen its logistics capabilities. For this purpose, two warehouses with a capacity of 1000 tons of storage have been integrated and 5 pick-up type rolling motors have been made available. Finally, the third is a response from Japan to the Ministry of Commerce's call for the rehabilitation of the Kirkissoye factory.
