The National Commission on Price Mercurials of the Ministry of Foreign Trade has issued a statement on new trends in the world market. Thus, the prices of copper, cobalt and zinc have increased on the international market, during the period from 05 to 10 September 2022.

The communiqué notes that these mining products are traded respectively at 8,082.50 USD against 8,048.00 USD per ton; 51,265.00 USD against 49,257.00 USD per ton and 3,621.00 USD against 3,546.70 USD per ton. However, the other mining products experienced a decline during the period under review, namely, tin and gold. These two commodities traded respectively at USD 24,545.00 against USD 24,849.00 per ton and USD 0.62 against USD 0.62 per gram. However, silver and tantalum remained stable in the international market by trading at USD 0.62 per gram and USD 410.00 per kilogram respectively.
