Intending to see their share of renewable energies increase to 42% in the energy mix, the Ivorian authorities have set up a major power plant project of biomass. This information was published on August 12 on the Biovea Energie LinkedIn page of the Ivorian company owned in part by EDF.

In collaboration with the Chinese company CEEC, Biovea Energie, the company behind the project, signs a new contract. Indeed, the plant they aim to create will be the first of its kind in West Africa and will help produce renewable energy with biomass for the Ivorian electricity grid.
