Man General Marcel Gbaguidi takes stock of the 40 months of the West African Accreditation System (Soac). This presentation was made face-to-face and online around the theme: "mechanism and interest of international recognition for West African laboratories".
Marcel Gbaguidi indicated that since the launch of Soac, 33 laboratories in West Africa, 16 in Côte d'Ivoire including seven (7) in medical biology. Today, Soac has been accepted as a signatory member of the African Accreditation Cooperation. It should be noted that the Soac was set up by WAEMU with the support of ECOWAS and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).
