New legislation relating to the approval of Management and Intermediation Companies (SGI) has been in force since January 1, 2022, on the regional financial market of the West African Monetary Union (WAMU). These regulations were enacted by the Regional Council for Public Savings and Financial Markets (CREPMF). It repeals instruction 04/97 relating to the approval of SGIs as well as all the contrary provisions, in particular those of section I of title III of Decision 009/01/2000 determining the guarantees to be presented when issuing loans. bondholders and commercial operators' approvals.
