Attijari bank published this week its activity indicators for the 2nd quarter of 2021. These data reveal a 5.82% increase in net banking income (NBP) in the first half to 259 million dinars.

During the first half of 2021, Attijari bank saw its Net Banking Income stand at 259 million dinars, up 5.82% compared to June 2020. Customer deposits also increased by 11.02 % compared to June 30, 2020. Sight deposits and savings accounts evolved by 11.53% and 9.90% respectively. The banking institution increased the outstanding balance of these loans by 3.03% compared to the end of June 2020 to stand at 6,224 million dinars. The outstanding balance of customer loans has evolved by 4.1% since the end of the previous year, totaling 6,224 million dinars. The outstanding investment securities portfolio increased by 233.5 million dinars. Banking operating income fell by 2.31% compared to last year to stand at 407,696 million dinars as of June 30, 2021. Over the same period, banking operating expenses recorded a drop of 13.84% to settle at 148,650 million dinars.

In this first half of the current year, Attijari bank organized four regional meetings with its corporate clients. These meetings, organized in Bizerte, Sfax, Monastir and Nabeul, brought together more than 400 business leaders and were an opportunity to affirm the active presence of Attijari bank in the strategic support of its Business customers. The financial institution sponsored the economic forum "Djerba International Business Forum DIBF" which was held on May 27 and 28, 2021 in Djerba and had the theme: "Business Without Borders". Also, Attijari bank and UNDP Tunisia organized, from April 9 to 11, 2021, a digital competition between teams of young Tunisian innovators offering digital solutions in the field of e-health.
