To meet the financing needs of the State budget of Niger, the Public Treasury of this country collected on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at the level of the UEMOA financial market the sum of 10 billion CFA francs following its issuance of an auction of assimilable 364-day treasury bills.

The issuer had put 10 billion CFA francs up for auction. The amount of global bids from investors is 12.079 billion FCFA. This corresponds to a coverage rate of 120.79% for the amount put up for auction.

The amount of bids accepted by the issuer is 10,000 FCFA and that rejected 2.079 billion FCFA. This gives an absorption rate of 82.79%

Investors whose submissions were successful will end up with a weighted average return of 9.99%.

The Public Treasury has undertaken to repay the vouchers issued on the first working day following the due date set at 27 August 2026. Interest will be paid in advance and deducted from their nominal value
