At the end of the trading session on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, the activities of the Bourse Régionale des Valeurs Mobilières (BRVM) market experienced a general decline in contrast to the improvement of the previous day.

The total value of transactions thus increased from 1.165 billion FCFA the day before to 928.086 billion FCFA on August 27, 2025.

As for the market capitalization of the equity market, it recorded a decrease of 89.32 billion FCFA, to 12,283.685 billion FCFA against 12,373.005 billion FCFA on August 26, 2025.

That of the bond market fell from 10 873.794 billion FCFA the day before to 10 857.976 billion FCFA on August 27, 2025, or a decrease of 15.818 billion FCFA on August 27, 2025, or a decrease of 15.818 billion.

The three leading indexes are down. The BRVM Composite index fell by 0.72% to 318.59 points against 320.91 points previously. As for the BRVM 30 index, it is down 0.83% to 154.68 points against 156.01 points the day before. For its part, the BRVM Prestige index fell by 0.63% to 131.86 points against 132.70 points

the day before.

The Top 5 of the largest price increases are occupied respectively by SICOR Côte d'Ivoire (plus 7.07% at 3,935 FCFA), Bernabé Côte d'Ivoire (plus 6.18% at 1,890 FCFA), Uniwax Côte d'Ivoire (plus 4.83% at 760 FCFA), TotalEnergies Marketing Senegal (plus 3.60% at 2,590 FCFA) and SAPH Côte d'Ivoire (plus 2.74% at 6,945 FCFA).

The Flop 5 of the largest price declines is occupied respectively by SITAB Côte d'Ivoire (minus 8.62% to 19,300 FCFA), AGL Côte d'Ivoire (minus 6.67% to 1,400 FCFA), AGL Côte d'Ivoire (minus 6.67% to 1,400 FCFA), NEI CEDA Côte d'Ivoire (minus 2.64% to FCFA 600), Palm Côte d'Ivoire (minus 2.64% at FCFA) 8,850 FCFA) and Oragroup Togo (minus 2.29% to 1,710 FCFA).
