On June 30, 2025, the financial services company Vista Group Holding announced the finalization of the majority acquisition of the capital of Société Générale Burkina Faso.

The acquisition of the capital of Société Générale Burkina Faso is part of Vista Group Holding's pan-African strategy. This group aims to expand its activities to 25 countries in the coming years. Its ambition is to promote financial inclusion and support economic development wherever it operates.

Indeed, the acquisition of the capital of Société Général Burkina Faso significantly strengthens the presence of the Vista group on the Burkinabe market, alongside its two other entities already active in the country.
