Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire is hosting the 2025 Annual Meetings of the African Development Bank Group from Monday 26 to Friday 30 May 2025. This meeting was attended by a Tunisian delegation led by the Minister of Economy and Planning, Mr. Samir Abdelhafidh, governor of the Tunisian Republic Group at the ADB

The 2025 Annual Meetings revolve around the theme: “making the most of Africa's capital to promote its development”. On the occasion of the Annual Meetings of the ADB Group, the outgoing President of the Banque africaine de développement (ADB) Group Akinwumi A. Adesina welcomed the diversified cooperation between Tunisia and its Institution.

He also reported that the Bank completed the largest capital increase in its history, from $93 billion in 2015 to $318 billion today, “an unprecedented achievement”, adding that the bank completed the largest replenishment of resources from the African Development Fund in its history, making it possible to mobilize $8.9 billion as part of its 16th replenishment.
