The BRVM Prestige index recorded a sharp increase of 1.05% at the end of the trading session on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 of the Bourse Régionale des Valeurs Mobilières (BRVM).

The BRVM Prestige Index includes all the flagship values listed on the Prestige compartment. The BRVM Prestige compartment includes companies that have, among other things, a minimum of 10% of activity, a capitalization of at least 50 billion CFA francs and a free float of at least 20% of the capital corresponding to a minimum of 4 million shares. The rise in indices, especially the BRVM Composite, has positively impacted the market capitalization of the equity market, which recorded an increase of 53,791 billion FCFA, reaching 11,699,358 billion FCFA, against 11,645.567 billion FCFA on Monday, May 19, 2025.

The market capitalization of the bond market fell by 78 million, from 10,549.525 billion FCFA the day before to 10,548.745 billion FCFA on May 20, 2025.
The total value of transactions increased slightly, reaching 1.371 billion FCFA against 1.101 billion FCFA

the day before.

For the second day in a row, the CFAO Mobility Côte d'Ivoire title is at the top 5 of the largest price increases (plus 6.98% at 690 FCFA) followed respectively by Solibra Côte d'Ivoire (plus 6.67% at 16,000 FCFA), Ecobank Côte d'Ivoire (plus 5.82% at 11,900 FCFA), Corp.
