This figure follows a turnover of 140.2 billion CFA francs (238.1 million dollars) for the whole of 2024
.Onatel's net profit fell by 24.7% to 3.9 billion CFA francs (6.6 million dollars), while EBITDA fell by 8.8 percent to 15 billion CFA francs (25.5 million dollars). The company's EBITDA margin fell to 41.2% from 47% in the previous year. Onatel recorded a net profit of 20.1 billion CFA francs (34.1 million dollars) for the financial year 2024, with an EBITDA of 63.2 billion CFA francs (107.3 million dollars). The company attributed the drop in profits to rising energy costs, maintaining sites in areas where security is at risk, and increasing Mobile Money commissions.
