At an international seminar held on Friday in Tangier, Morocco's efforts to combat the various forms of money laundering crimes were exposed.

He thus welcomes the positive trend in reducing the average time for issuing judgments, since 75% of judgments were delivered within the indicative time limits set by the Council (180 days before the courts of first instance and 120 days in case of appeal), while respecting the rules of fair trial, despite the challenges associated with the complexity of this type of crime and the broad territorial jurisdiction of the courts dealing with financial crimes.

Le président du ministère public, El Hassan Daki, a indiqué de son côté que le Maroc a pris une série de mesures pratiques pour renforcer l' écosystème financier national, en répondant aux normes du Groupe d' action financière (FATF ) , and by ensuring the adequacy of legal legislation and the expansion of competencies of the financial courts, stressing that these efforts have ensured Morocco's exit from the FATF gray list and strengthened confidence in the Moroccan economic system, while making the Kingdom a safe destination for investments
