The First August Cotton Company (SoCopa) set up a cotton ginning factory in Djougou, in the Donga department, on Tuesday, April 23.

The cotton processing sector in Benin is getting richer with the installation of a new factory in Djougou, in the Donga department. According to the Minister of Industry and Commerce, this factory will contribute to strengthening Benin's position on the international market by offering more competitive products that comply with international standards. It will also open the way to new export opportunities and generate additional revenue for the national economy.
