The AFAWA Finance series brings together public policy makers and private sector leaders to advance access to finance for managed businesses or owned by women in Togo. The event, which will end tomorrow Thursday, March 28, allows participants to explore the opportunities offered by the Guarantee for Growth (G4G) program, the AFAWA guarantee mechanism implemented by the African Guarantee Fund (AGF), to increase the financing of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) run or owned by women, thus contributing to the development of the Togolese economy. The goal is to fund 30,000 businesses run or owned by women to the tune of 5 billion dollars by 2030.

Thus, the AFAWA Growth Guarantee Program (G4G) will contribute to this ambitious goal by providing up to 2 billion US dollars in financing for small and medium-sized businesses run or owned by women through financial institutions.
