On Wednesday, March 20, 2024, Mali issued a simultaneous auction of 91-, 364-day treasury bills (BAT) and equivalent 3-year treasury bonds (OATs). In the end, the country raised the sum of 19.208 billion CFA francs on the UEMOA financial market

In order to ensure the coverage of the financing needs of its budget, the State of Mali through its Public Treasury had tendered the sum of 25 billion FCFA. At the end of the operation, global tenders amounted to 25.791 billion FCFA. This gives a coverage rate of 103.17% for the amount put up for auction.
