The construction of the new 23 MWP solar photovoltaic power plant aims to significantly reduce the country's dependence on imported fossil fuels for electricity generation. The aim will be to accelerate the introduction of new energy sources in order to generate 50% of the country's electricity supply from renewable energy sources by 2030.
