The executive secretary of the General Confederation of Enterprises of Côte d'Ivoire (CGECI), Stéphane Aka-Anghui announced at a press conference held last Tuesday that the first edition of the “Cap Green” forum will be held from 16 to 17 April 2024, at si& Regrave; age of the CGECI in Plateau, in Abidjan

The first edition of the “Cap Green” forum is planned under the theme: “Cape Green, from vision to transition: structuring and accelerating green financing and investment mechanisms”. It is part of the implementation of the CGECI's 2023-2026 strategic plan in which employers decide, beyond energy issues, to focus on climate and the environment. According to Stéphane Aka-Anghui, it is a collective commitment to the transition for a sustainable economy in Côte d'Ivoire and in the sub-region. In reality, this forum will be a framework for private sector advocacy to show its commitment to the paradigm of decarbonization of the Ivorian economy
