Le 10 mars dernier, le “ Pan-African Prize for the Promotion of Democracy and Good Governance” was awarded to the present of the Senate, Pierre Ngolo.

Also called the “Pan-African Excellence Award”,” le Pan-African Prize for the Promotion of Democracy and Good Governance” is awarded annually by the Executive Ethics Committee of the Pan-African Consortium. Its purpose is to reward a statesman, a government, an organization or any person who, through his politique , his, his commitment, his positions or the quality of his work, will have been able to demonstrate his attachment to one of following values such as the promotion of democracy and good governance; the promotion of socio-economic development; the promotion of integration between peoples; the promotion of peace, non-violence, human rights, and social cohesion

According to the coordinator of the Pan-African Peace Consortium, Dr. Ernest Nounga Djomo, the President of the Congolese Senate is an example to follow for African youth in general and Congolese youth in particular.
