The Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM) celebrated women on 8 March. For the past ten years, stock exchanges have committed to ringing their bells around the world to promote gender equality under the “Ring the Bell for Gender Equality” concept.

In 2024, at least 115 scholarships sacrificed themselves to the now tradition of International Women's Rights Day. According to Félix Edoh Kossi Amenounve, Director General of BRVM, “celebrating women is celebrating life. Recognizing your rights is perpetuating life.” On the occasion of this celebration, Kadhy Touré, CEO of Brown Angels, CEO of Brown Angels, TV presenter, producer and actress, was the Keynote speaker of the day. She shared her rich life and entrepreneurial experience, her passion for creative industries as well as her desire to contribute to the financial education of women in Côte d'Ivoire and throughout the sub-region. The Director General of the Brvm , Dr. Edoh Kossi Amenouve praised the exceptional qualities of the woman, the mother, the spouse, who is “the unpaid treasurer” or even “the “inexhaustible attic” of the family
