On Wednesday, February 7, the president of the General Authority for Investment and the Free Zone (GAFI) announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with HSBC Bank Egypt. The agreement aims to support the Authority's strategy to attract foreign direct investment to Egypt.

L'accord entre le GAFI et HSBC Bank Egypt follows the successful mission of GAFI in 2023 with HSBC in Singapore and China, who emphasized how investors value the opportunities that exist for them in Egypt are highly valued. Hossam Heibah, president of the General Authority for Investment and the Free Zone (GAFI) has indicated that he wants to cooperate with HSBC to attract investors through its strong international network across the world and connecting Asia, Europe and the Middle East. HSBC will present and connect more international investors to growing business opportunities in Egypt through even more cooperation & close with the Authority.
