Prison is required against Pascaline Bongo, suspected of passive bribery of foreign agents. After four days of trial, the requests of the public prosecutor's office were like a cold shower. The prosecutor denounced a corruption pact between Pascaline Bongo and Egis Route. This pact consists of a fictional contract, concealment and an attack on economic public order. Thus, the prosecutor requested three years in prison against her, including one year in prison and a fine of 150,000 euros.

The prosecutor also requested a suspended sentence of two to three years for the other defendants, in particular Franck Ping, son of former minister Jean Ping, and for the three Egis Route leaders implicated. The judgment is expected on April 22, 2024.
