On Thursday, January 25, the Senegalese Public Treasury raised the sum of 86.270 billion CFA francs on the UEMOA financial market. It was at the end of a targeted auction of 364-day Treasury Bonds (BAT) and 3- and 5-year Treasury Recovery Bonds (OATs), in order to ensure the coverage of the financing needs of the State budget

The issuer had auctioned 80 billion FCFA and obtained global bids of 86.274 billion FCFA, i.e. a coverage rate of the amount auctioned of 107.84%. According to UMOA-Titres, organizer of the operation, the amount of tenders selected is 86.270 billion FCFA and that rejected at 4 million FCFA, i.e. an absorption rate of 100%
