Novotel Hotel Orisha in Cotonou hosted the sixth edition of the Rencontres du Marché des Titres Publics (Remtp) yesterday Tuesday, January 23, 2024. This was the opportunity to launch its activities for the year 2024.

“Development of the bond market in the Uemoa zone: what reform areas? ” This is the general theme around which the actors of the financial ecosystem will discuss and find a consensus of agreement during the two days of work of the sixth edition of the Rencontres du Marché des Titres Publics (Remtp). The event, led by Uemoa -Titres, the regional agency for the management and promotion of public securities in the Uemoa zone, brings together around 150 players in the financial ecosystem in Cotonou. The objective is to strengthen the promotion and leadership of the Public Securities Market, and to promote a dialogue on the issues and challenges of the sovereign debt market

According to the director of Uemoa -Titres, Oulématou N'Diaye Diasse, this edition is of a particular nature. “After 10 years of life of the Public Securities Market, we have the opportunity to pause to take stock of the market and especially to discuss together around the essential actions to be taken for its development” she said.
