It was on Friday, January 12, 2024, that a gasoline ship docked at the autonomous port of Conakry, 48 hours after that of diesel fuel.

The Prime Minister, Head of Government, Dr. Bernard Goumou welcomed the ship along with several other authorities. The Head of Government welcomed the docking of the boat carrying 33 million liters of gasoline intended to relieve the population. “Unloading will begin to serve the stations” in the next few hours. According to the Prime Minister, “following the instructions of the President of the Republic, efforts will continue” in order to achieve the normal resumption of activities as early as this weekend.
