BRVM's value transactions amounted to 4.75 billion FCFA compared to 2.07 billion FCFA last week. For the management and intermediation company (SGI), SONATEL represents 26% of this value followed by TOTAL Côte d'Ivoire (21%). According to him, “a total of 19 values are up against 21 are down, 5 values have remained constant”. Volume transactions, on the other hand, fell, as in the previous week, standing at 2,384,112 shares traded against 840,718
shares.The bond market increased by 181 million FCFA, or +1.82%. The overall capitalization of this market was 10,132 billion FCFA as of August 25, 2023. FGI notes that the bond called PAD 6.60% 2020-2027 represents 89% of transactions in value, which, in turn, increased by 951.856% to 5.24 billion FCFA
.As for the BRVM stock market, it closed higher during the week under review. BRVM Composite increased by 0.25% to 207.67 points and BRVM 30 by 0.29% to 104.36 points. On the other hand, the BRVM Prestige contracted by 1.02% to 103.31 points. According to FGI, “the performance observed this week is linked to the increases recorded in the Finance (+1.15%), Distribution (+0.47%), Transport (+0.33%), Agriculture (+0.21%) and Industry (+0.13%) sectors
”.
