On August 10, 2023, Côte d'Ivoire Terminal, operator of the 2nd container terminal in the Port of Abidjan, announced that it had received five new park gates. A new delivery that comes after that of June and August 2022.

The new ones, worth about 6 billion FCFA and with a larger capacity, will in particular make it possible to store 9 containers on the same line compared to 7 in the past, to accelerate loading operations and the unloading of containers at the same line import as well as export, and increase the speed and management of the park. They have also made it possible to reduce waiting times and improve the fluidity of port operations. These are the latest generation of 100% electric gantries that will allow Côte d'Ivoire terminal, in addition to their operational advantages, to reduce the environmental impact of its activities while maximizing the energy efficiency of its installations
