In the 1st quarter of 2022, the financial results of the Société des cs de Grand-Béréby (SOGB) and the Société Afrique des Plantations d'Hévéas (SAPH) were weighed down by low global rubber prices.

SOGB saw its turnover fall by 19.3% compared with the first quarter of 2022 to reach FCFA 19.946 billion while net income fell by 26.3% to FCFA 2.410 billion. For its part, the SIFCA group, SAPH, saw its figure fall by 2% to FCFA 48,829 billion but the net result fell by 172% to FCFA 1.2349 billion.
