The market activities of the Regional Securities Exchange (BRVM) experienced disparate developments at the end of the trading session on May 16, 2023.

La capitalisation boursière du marché des actions enregistre une augmentation de 14,627 billion, at 7309.135 billion FCFA the day before to 7294.508 billion FCFA on May 15, 2023. Pour sa part, la capitalisation du marché obligataire connait aussi une baisse de 9 .79 billion, going from 9900.701 billion FCFA the day before to 9890.911 billion FCFA on Tuesday, May 16, 2023. As for the value of transactions, it stood at 268.746 million FCFA compared to 454.491 million FCFA on

May 15, 2023.

The BRVM 30 index (index of the 30 most traded stocks on the market) also increased by 0.22% to 98.23 points compared with 98.01 points previously. For its part, the BRVM Prestige Index (which includes all the stocks listed in the Prestige compartment), recorded a fall of 0.23% to 100.54 points compared with 100.77 points the day before.

As for the Top 5 largest price increases, it is occupied respectively by Sitab Côte d'Ivoire (plus 7.50% to 6,450 FCFA), Oragroup Togo (plus 4.04% to 2,320 FCFA), NEI CEDA Côte d'Ivoire (plus 2.48% to 620 FCFA), BOA Côte d'Ivoire (plus 2.06% to 4,945 FCFA) and SAPH Côte d'Ivoire (plus 1.65% to 4,300 FCFA).
