The West African Economic and Monetary Union (UEMOA) announced that the average annual inflation rate was 5.2% in February 2023 in Côte d'Ivoire, virtually stable compared to the previous month.

A press release from UEMOA mentions that “in February 2023, the Harmonized Index of Consumer Prices (HICP) reached a level of 119.6. Thus, it increased by 0.4% compared to January 2023 and by 0.9% compared to November 2022. Over one year, the index increased by 4.9%.”
