2023 will see a lot of digital achievements in Benin. Indeed, the director of the Information and Digital Systems Agency (ASIN) announced that equally ambitious projects will be delivered this year, starting with the national electronic payment platform in its first phase. For him, activities on “this platform resumed at the beginning of the year with the main State factors such as SBEE, Soneb, Mobile Money Operators.” Phase 2 of the Project to Strengthen Central Government Structures (PRSCG) will start next June. According to the director, this phase focuses on decentralized structures, in particular the 77 town halls and the 12 prefectures.

Noted that phase 1 made it possible to deploy more than 2000 kilometers of fiber optic infrastructure throughout the national territory.
