During the third quarter of 2022, monetary conditions in the WAEMU were marked by a slight increase in interest rates, a performance that took place in connection with the policy rate hikes of la Bceao intervened since June 2022.

Refinancing requests from Union banks were served at the minimum rate of 2.5% according to the Bceao.
